  • Vigil and Public Worship for Immigrants and Refugees: King Plaza — 250 Hamilton Ave., Palo Alto. 6 – 7:15 p.m. All are welcome. This is one of 50 public protests being held in communities around the country on Aug. 11, corresponding to the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av, the annual Jewish day of mourning over Jewish experiences of exile, dislocation, and hatred.
