Kids’ Dance Party: Latin Edition
Friday, May 5th, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Join the Kids’ Dance Party as DJ Kevin spins latin tunes to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! There will be music and movement with latin flair. Participants will be able to shake their maracas and shimmy, shimmy, shimmy to the beat. For ages 0 to 5-years-old and their parent(s). Superhero Race
Saturday, May 6th, 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Kids, tweens, teens and adults are you ready to use your super hero powers? Wear your favorite costumes and come design some extra parts, like masks, capes and gauntlets at the superhero craft making. At 3 p.m. they’re going to take a run around Live Oak Park in their fabulous costumes. All racers will receive a free comic book at the end of the race to celebrate Free Comic Book Day. 2 p.m.- Costume Building Craft & 3 p.m.- Superhero Race. May Town Hall with Congressman Ro Khanna
