Tim Towers Honored for Over 22 Years of Service

On Thursday, June 28, the Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) School Board honored Tim Towers for over 22 years of service to the District, including planning and guidance for the District Facility Improvement and Expansion programs, support and leadership on four successful General Obligation Bond Programs and his service in advancing the work of Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committees.  Serving on the Board of the California League of Bond Oversight Committees for several years, Towers recently received the Anton Jungherr Award for his significant contributions in support of transparency and the effective and proper expenditure of General Obligation Bond funds.

“I have run out of superlatives to describe Tim’s contributions to our School District,” said SCUSD Board Member Andrew Ratermann. “I consider him to be a friend and mentor. I cannot tell you how happy I am that he is receiving recognition for this service to our schools and community.”
