Arbor Day & Earth Day Celebration

This is a free, family friendly event. It’s the 30th year that the National Arbor Day Foundation will present the City of Santa Clara with a Tree City USA award to recognize our tree program. They invite the community to engage in environmental education for a healthy lifestyle and a healthy planet. There will be a ZunZun performance to celebrate the environments and cultures of the Americas through music.The Akoma Arts will perform African drumming and dancing. Run Santa Clara: A Family 5K
Sunday, April 30th, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
This is your chance to walk or run through Central Park with your friends and family.  Hosted by the Santa Clara Youth Commission, “Run Santa Clara: A Family 5K” seeks to promote living a healthy and active lifestyle.  Route will feature loops of paved paths and sidewalks within Central Park.
