Arbor Day & Earth Day Celebration

This is a free, family friendly event. It’s the 30th year that the National Arbor Day Foundation will present the City of Santa Clara with a Tree City USA award to recognize our tree program. They invite the community to engage in environmental education for a healthy lifestyle and a healthy planet. There will be a ZunZun performance to celebrate the environments and cultures of the Americas through music.The Akoma Arts will perform African drumming and dancing. Run Santa Clara: A Family 5K

This is your chance to walk or run through Central Park with your friends and family. Hosted by the Santa Clara Youth Commission, “Run Santa Clara: A Family 5K” seeks to promote living a healthy and active lifestyle. Route will feature loops of paved paths and sidewalks within Central Park. Open to all abilities and ages. Proceeds benefit the Santa Clara Youth Commission scholarship fund.
