Santa Clara Libraries Set to Reopen

&

The City of Santa Clara is preparing to reopen all its library branches to the public starting at the end of the month. This week, the City announced it will expand the hours of operation at the Central Park Library.

Starting on March 14, the Central Park Library will operate with the following hours:

  • Monday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, Closed

The Bookmobile is back on the road and running on its regular operating schedule. It will have hold pickups available.

The City says the hours can increase because the library system’s “workforce capacity” has “stabilized from the recent pandemic outbreak.”

Santa Clara was one of the only library systems in the County to reduce library hours in late January.

  • Saturday and Sunday, Closed

The Northside Branch will operate with the following hours:
