Endorsement of Vickie Fairchild for SCUSD School Board
I have had the pleasure of knowing Vickie for nearly 2 decades – personally and professionally. We were hired by SCUSD the same year. I have always known her to have the best interest of students as her guide. She is not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo if there are things she sees could be improved, or there’s a better way to serve students. Vickie is an incredible person. She is kind and looks to help others. She is smart and thoughtful. She has worked with preschool, elementary, high school, and post-secondary students and schools in our district. She is dedicated to seeing all students succeed in whatever capacity they are able. Her knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of our schools would be an incredible asset to our school board.
