Letter From Rich Solis

Did anyone pay any attention to the announcement by the NFL for Super Bowl L?
The NFL chooses SAN FRANSICO, Not Santa Clara, which means that once again the city of Santa Clara will take a back seat and play a secondary role in the week long festivities that are part of the Super Bowl NFL experience.

Our giddy politicians want you to believe that there will be significant financial benefit for our city from this event but the truth of the matter is, the city will see no more revenue for the Super Bowl than a regular season game generates but with much higher costs.

It‘s San Francisco as the host city NOT Santa Clara that will see the majority of the financial benefit from the weeklong festivities prior to the game. For anyone to think differently shows ignorance.

Once again this truly shows just how out of their league city officials are.
