The 49ers are a mature business with capable managers. They can and will capably defend themselves in their partnership with the city. We are very fortunate to have a mayor and some of the council, particularly Council Member Debbi Davis, who are willing to defend the residents of this city in that partnership as well as with other neighborhood issues.
The one new council candidate who has demonstrated an ability to effectively analyze all sides of each issue and who I believe is capable of reasoned solutions is Raj Chahal.
This City is on a steep trajectory to become more urban and developed. We need council members who can both envision the future as well as represent the interests of current residents. The 49ers will take care of themselves. We need leaders who do what is best for this city.
