I purchased a brick for the S.C. Veterans Memorial a few years ago. I am a Navy veteran of the Korean War (NOT Conflict). Now I read that our City Manager was awarded a brick for this Memorial. I don’t know if Ms. Sparacino is a veteran, but if she isn’t, I don’t think she should have a brick at the memorial.
Ms Sparacino has done much good work for the City so I think the City could find some other means to honor her
