There are hundreds of homeless animals currently in Silicon Valley shelters. To help get animals into new homes, six Silicon Valley animal shelters will be participating in the Empty Our Shelters with one goal, to find homes for as many animals as possible. Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority, Humane Society Silicon Valley, San Jose Animal Care Services, Santa Clara County Animal Shelter Palo Alto Animal Services, and Town Cats are all taking part in the event which runs now until October 16 and offers a pay what you want in adoption fee special.
