New Residential Care Home Opens in Santa Clara

Life Services Alternatives Inc. celebrated the opening of its tenth residential care home for developmentally disabled adults in Santa Clara County and its fifth home in the City of Santa Clara on April 3.

After acquiring the property located at 3121 Humbolt Avenue last fall, Life Services Alternatives renovated and upgraded the home for its five new residents. The new home will add to Santa Clara County’s limited capacity of residential care homes for developmentally disabled adults.

&ldquoThis is a proud moment for the organization which has grown tremendously over the past 10 years,” said Dana Hooper, executive director. &ldquoCreating our tenth home and being able to offer our quality care and services to more clients is very gratifying.”
