A friend of mine explained to me how lonely he was. This was especially the case during the pandemic. There are many people with broken minds and despaired hearts, who only feel silence and loneliness in a nocturnal world teeming with noise.
I wish the best for my friend. Perhaps one day when everything goes back to normal, he will no longer hear just “silence” at night; he will hear the vivid nightlife telling a story, and he will hear these words I write, wishing him and all those like him well.
