We’re tired of the 49ers throwing their money around bullying Santa Clara citizens. They bribed citizens (my neighbor was one of many who received a free dinner during the campaign for Measure J). Their lawyers step on us when we, as citizens, petitioned to have the Stadium project reviewed (many of us were misled by Measure J). Now, after the County Oversight Board soundly terminated the contracts between the RDA and Stadium Authority, they are sending their lawyers at us again to take money away from our schools.
I praise the Oversight Board for terminating the contracts and I am strongly opposed to spending any of Santa Clara funds on this stadium project. The funds belong to our schools. It’s time to put our children first.
