The 49ers’ persistent demands for the Youth Soccer Park to become their parking lot say a lot about the organization, the city management, and their values. 1. They should have told us this in the first place. 2. They should think beyond cars. 3. They should be more creative about parking/travel and about having an image that is related to sports and fitness. Pro sports is acting anti–sports. 4. They should make friends, not make enemies to gain a parking lot. A parking lot! 5. They should build down, build up, and be prepared to walk. Fitness!
