I support the “parcel tax proposal” and my wife and I will vote for it. My only problem with the program is that you can bet Sacramento will treat this in the same manner as the lottery deal. They will simply take the proportinate amount of money from the yearly education budget tax money and transfer that to the “general fund” where it will be used to payoff political debts or go to pet projects.
What the people really need to do is take the state budget process away from the state legislature and have the process preformed by an audit company. Better yet, vote all the democrats and republicans out of office and replace them with honest independents who care more about the people than themselves and their largest contributors.
