I read your story on the lawsuit to remove the Cross memorial on De La Cruz.
People who believe in God are always told by the atheist’s that if we don’t like the immoral media that also offends our particular faith, then we can “turn it off’, or, “don’t watch it.”
That’s what I say to them-if you don’t like the Cross being there, don’t look at it-just drive by.
This spot was marked in 1953 by the Lions Club (not a Catholic group).
It stands there as reminder that on that spot, a California Mission stood-it is only a historic monument.
And if the great majority of citizens who live in SC have NOT complained about it-then the City should not even consider removing this monument to the city’s and the state’s history-because it is part of all our histories.
