I’m a little confused with the Santa Clara Weekly’s coverage of the SCUSD Candidates Forum. From what I’ve read in previous articles in the ‘Weekly,’ the paper is opposed to Chris Stampolis (I’m not too sure about your position on Michele Ryan). So, seeing very little information from the other candidates is a little surprising. Little is actually mentioned about the other candidates, but most of the articles discuss Chris Stampolis and Michele Ryan comments. Is this an indication that the other candidates really don’t have anything of substance to say? The incumbents seem to just want to do what they’ve done before, but the challengers really seem to have a passion to make the schools better for their children. And it seems that this passion is what is being attacked. Should these candidates not have a passion? I’m thinking that is what we need.
