Kudos to San Jose city officials that worked on finding a home for the homeless and improving the environment even during the pandemic. The idea of housing in the Guadalupe River Park, while enlisting the residents’ help to clean and maintain the park is worth exploring. Whether we have a home or not, we are one humanity. Silicon Valley is known for innovation, creativity, and resilience; as San Jose finds ways to help both its people and the environment, it’s important that our efforts go towards the fundamental necessities for all of our citizens.
