Yesterday I went shopping at Sprouts in Santa Clara. I wore my Korea Veteran cap and my 49er scarf. I met a couple in the aisle and the woman said “Thank you for your service and also “Go 49ers”. When I got to the cashier, a woman passed me and I didn’t think anything of it. When it came time to pay, the cashier said “It’s taken care of”. The woman who went ahead of me paid for my groceries. It was over $18 dollars. The woman said her name was Paula and I was pleasantly surprised. No one has ever done this for me. I was really touched. There is a woman in Santa Clara with the name of Paula who has a heart of gold. I told Paula that her parents raised her right.
