I don’t like the idea of people having guns. Guns exist for killing and only for killing. In a perfect world, there would be no reason to have firearms; no one is going to attack. Some people who support having weapons tend to say that the root of the problem is people, not guns. Humans are smart enough to hurt others using a variety of tools. Yet there is a significant difference: while most tools are made for various purposes, guns are meant only to harm people. Crimes of passion and suicides are usually committed using guns because it is an effective, easy, and fast way to kill someone. If these people had to do more than just go home and grab a gun, they are more likely to think a little bit more before acting. Let’s all support gun control. We may just save some lives.
