I see you wrote an article around AirBnB holding back large fees for covid-19 related cancellations. I have had the same thing happen – I have been fighting with them around a 27% fee that they have retained, for a booking that had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 travel bans. The host refunded 100%. AirBnB has withheld 27% of this ($461 USD fee retained) and will not give a refund – an excessive amount, in my opinion and an abuse of the Covid-19 situation. This is a student related trip as well.
