Judith Harkham Semas: 1942-2013

A prolific journalist whose byline was featured in Business Week and the Christian Science Monitor, Santa Clara native Judith Harkham Semas was in the first class of women admitted to Santa Clara in 1961. A prolific writer on human side of the tech industry, Semas was the co-author of “San Jose and Silicon Valley: Primed for the 21st Century”. Prior to her career in journalism, she served as a personnel director for Union Bank and the City of Santa Clara, and CEO of HOPE Services.
