Delegations from the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chongqing China met at Ding Ding TV studios at 3350 Scott Blvd. on Monday, April 30 in a brief cultural exchange.
This was one of the first visits of a Chinese delegation to Silicon Valley from one of the world’s largest cities, boasting a population of 30 million people. The delegation represented many of the largest industries and businesses from Chongqing and the Chongqing Valley including the publisher of 27 newspapers in the region.
Greeting the delegation from the Chamber was Chamber President Nick Kasper, Craig Martin, General Manager of the Santa Clara Marriott and Chair of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and numerous board members from the Chamber.
