Cheers to Sunnyvale Downtown’s Inaugural Wine Stroll

The best of local vineyards come to the South Bay as the Sunnyvale Downtown Association launches its first Downtown Wine Stroll on May 7, 2011. Visitors can taste a variety of local vintages while window shopping on the newly vibrant Murphy Ave., while enjoying sleight of hand performed by master magicians, including Hollywood Magic Castle’s Steve Silverman and YouTube magic phenomenon Chris “Orbit” Brown.

Twenty boutique Bay Area wineries will be featured, including Clos Du Bois, Testarossa and Bargetto. To further tempt the taste buds, downtown restaurants such as Tarragon, Il Postale and Vallesol will offer food specials as part of the event.

“It’s really going to be a great opportunity for downtown to showcase what there is to see and do,” said Joel Wyrick, executive director of the Sunnyvale Downtown Association.
