Teen Program: Scorch Trials Movie- Friday 1/15, 3:30-5:30 pm: After having escaped the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Foundation and Friends Book Sale- Saturday 1/16, 10 am-2 pm: Get great deals on thousands of books, movies and music at the Friends of the Library Book Sale. Held in the Central Park Library, Redwood Room. Proceeds support library programs and services. From noon to 2 pm books are sold for $5 a bag. Open to members at 9 am and the general public at 10 am. Puppet Arts Theater Presents … Goldilocks and the Three Sharks (Blacklight Special)- Saturday 1/16, 2 pm-3pm: Join the Northside Branch Library for a special blacklight, glow-in-the-dark performance of Goldilocks and the Three Sharks. Puppet Art Theater transports the audience deep into an ocean environment where they join Goldilocks the Mermaid under the sea, as she looks for adventure and finds nothing but trouble. Doors will close when room is at capacity or 15 minutes after the program begins. For ages 3 and up ONLY. Northside Branch Library 695 Moreland Way, Santa Clara 95054.


Santa Clara University Faculty Recital Series- Friday 1/15 7:30 pm: Enjoy the complete set of Chopin Etudes, along with Bach’s Goldberg Variations, presented by gifted pianist Tian-En Yu. Presented through the generous support of Bea Kuteman Harris Fund for Music.
