Cultural Commission Presents 2016 Summer Concerts in the Park- Friday, August 19th, 6:30-8pm: The City of Santa Clara’s Cultural Commission will be presenting Concerts on the Park at the Central Park Pavilion, 909 Kiely Blvd. between Homestead Road and Benton Street. The Usual Suspects Band will perform and features six vocalists, three part harmonies, powerful guitar licks, tasteful keyboard and harmonica solos, as well as a four-piece horn section. Their wide repertoire of tunes is guaranteed to get folks out of their seats.

Northside Zumba- Saturday, August 20th, 10:15-11am: Zumba still remains as one of the hottest fitness classes in the nation. This Latin-inspired dance infuses salsa, hip-hop, samba, merengue and mambo into a high-energy, high-calorie burning workout. Learn from certified Zumba instructor, Amy Li, how to shake your hips and melt the fat away. This program is a 45-minute workout and will be hosted in the front of the Northside Branch Library. The library suggests you wear athletic clothing and shoes and to bring sunscreen, a water bottle and towel. For adults 18 and above. Northside Branch Library 695 Moreland Way, Santa Clara.

Pruneridge Avenue Public Meeting- Wednesday, August 24th, 6:30-7:30pm: The City of Santa Clara is holding a follow-up meeting for the Pruneridge Avenue Neighborhood. The goal of this meeting is to discuss bicycle lanes and safety concerns along Pruneridge Avenue from the City of Cupertino city limit to Pomeroy Avenue.
