Zumba- Saturday, June 18th, 10:15-11am: Zumba still remains as one of the hottest fitness classes in the nation. Learn from a certified Zumba instructor, Amy Li, how to shake your hips and melt the fat away. This program is a 45-minute workout and will be hosted in the front of Northside Branch Library. Wear athletic clothing/ shoes. Bring a water bottle, towel and sunscreen. For adults 18 and above. All participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver. 2nd Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance- Saturday, June 18th, 4-5pm: Join the library for the 2nd annual Daddy-Daughter Dance. Dads bring your little sweeties for an early evening full of fun and dancing. When registering, please use your daughter’s name. Dress attire is formal. No jeans will be permitted. For ages 4 and up. Eventbrite registration is required. Northside Branch Library 695 Moreland Way, Santa Clara.

Family Fun Night in the Park- Monday, June 20th, 7-8pm: Ballet Folkorico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo. Folkoric dance and regional music from Mexico. All ages are welcome. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the entertainment. It does get cool on some evenings, so be sure to bring a sweater. For more information, contact Youth Services at 408-615-2916. NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition- Saturday, June 25th: Young pro football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills when the Santa Clara Lions hosts an NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition at Townsend Field. The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-15. For competition information, call Craig Connelly at 408-221-3056. Entry forms are available online at NFLPPK.com or from SCLIONSFOOTBALL.org. The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy. Age classification is as of Dec. 31 at 11:59 p.m. local time of the current year.
