The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 20-year-old man killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a car near Central Park on the night of June 23. The medical examiner says Jayden Tram was the person killed in the collision.
According to Santa Clara police, Tram was riding a Honda motorcycle on Kiely Boulevard around 9:10 p.m. near Kaiser Drive in Santa Clara when he collided with a silver Kia.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene. They found Tram suffering from severe injuries. Emergency responders treated him and tried life-saving measures before pronouncing Tram dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia suffered minor injuries. The driver was treated at the scene and released. The passenger of the Kia was not injured.
Officers have not released the official cause of the collision.
