During the December 17th Santa Clara Unified School Board meeting Trustee Michelle Ryan was not only disrespectful to the other board members, but to the community at large. Eye rolling while scolding other board members about proper behavior is never ok. During the voting for a new Board President, Trustee Ryan kept alluding to emails and conversations she has had with community members who were not pleased with the behavior of other board members. Her actions and facial expressions could be compared to a temper tantrum.
It is time for the SCUSD to move forward and unite, not point fingers if we want to accomplish anything for our students and teachers.
