Just read your rundown of the fight over the CVRA in Santa Clara. Terrific! I have lived in Los Altos, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and for more than 40 years in Santa Clara. Sunnyvale was most responsive to its citizens of all of those cities. I have been fighting city hall ever since I came to Santa Clara in 1975. Cronyism and the entrenched is all you need to know about Santa Clara governance. I do hope the 2020 election will bring a change in the city council and, in turn, how the city is run.
