With the December 14th council vote on the stadium financing there was one clear winner and one clear loser.
Simply put, for the residents of the city the risk/debt out weighs the benefit/return regardless of what has been portrayed it will be the resident and the city that suffers if this deal fails.
Residents in the area will be inconvenienced and held hostage in their own neighborhoods.
City owned entities such as the golf course and convention center which are a drain on the general operating budget will see their revenue stream affected.
Couple all of this with the parking situation that will be a major problem what do you get?
A city that is way over it’s head with this deal.
And the winner is?
