Recently I spent my Sunday doing something I dread –knocking on doors of strangers on the streets near my house, introducing myself and encouraging them to vote for Suds Jain for city council. I did this because I think that Suds is an extraordinary candidate who can bring smarts, integrity, and experience to our city council right when we need it.
Gone are the days we can just trust ‘nice people’ to serve on the council. We need Suds’ smarts – he earned two degrees from MIT, his experience – he served on the Planning Commission, and his integrity to tackle everything from quality of life issues, like traffic, to ensuring the 49ers meet their obligations to the city. I’ve known Suds for a decade and truly believe there is no one running who brings his rare collection of talents – keen intelligence, diverse experience and deep integrity — to helping guide our city forward.
