When you encounter a person who revels in his ignorance, you have to feel sorry for him. No one has ever been a more hard boiled critic of Christine Kolterman than I, but O think it is perfectly fine that Kolterman is now a member of a charter review committee. My view is, so what? Nothing to fear there. Suds Jain is a member as is my old colleague on the Board of Library Trustees, Kathy Almazol, and old charter review colleague, Steve Silva. Well, so what? The Charter Review Committee is similar to a jury, and can handle all sorts of points of view, unless you are a person who revels in his stupidity. Thank them for their service, and move on.

The developer, Lamb Partners (Randy Lamb – Atherton Planning Commissioner) started to purchase the two single family homes along Monroe, 906 Monroe St. and 930 Monroe St. in Feb 2019 and Sep 2019 respectively. Santa Clara is the ONLY city in the entire State of California to have an elected Chief of Police. I contend that Santa Clarans don’t actually have a choice in selecting their Chief of Police.
