Dear to whom it may concern,
The Child Tax Credit payments have expired during the end of 2021. During this time, poverty levels are starting to rise and more will suffer if the state does not take action to help families in need. Since California has a big surplus this year, I urge both Governor Newsom and the state legislature provide relief to residents struggling (low-income families especially). We endured a long difficult year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the state can lead the way and provide tax cuts to working families. Thank you!
