I am going to completely out of character by praising Magdalena Carrasco for being the sole vote of reason on the VTA Board regarding keeping route 65. Carrasco was absolutely correct and valiant in her effort to speak out for students and low income people in trying to keep a route that services college students and working people. Sadly, Teresa ONeill once again demonstrated how useless she is on public transportation. ONeill could care less about transit riders, she has been a disaster on the VTA Board. Unless Jude Barry or another group of nitwits backs something, ONeill could care less. Everyone knows I want to challenge Carrasco whenever possible, but Magdalena did something right and deserves a chance to get praise when she does. Teresa ONeill is an embarrassment to public service, no brain, completely useless.
