On April 9, a MEGA Millions ticket sold in Santa Clara was just one number away from winning that night’s MEGA Millions draw. The ticket matched five of six numbers to win a prize worth $215,136. However, the lucky Lottery player has yet to come forward to claim their winnings.
The winning ticket was sold at the Safeway located at 3970 Rivermark Plaza in Santa Clara. It successfully matched the numbers 54-17-30-41-48, missing only the Mega number of 13.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the backs of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
