Early risers prepared to “sweat for vets” on Sunday, August 6. The Mission City VetRun partnered with local beneficiaries to put on this run to support military veterans.
The course started in front of Levi’s Stadium at the Faithful Mile and continued along the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail. Runners received special VetRun Challenge Finishers dog tags for completing the 5K or 10K—some runners completed both.
Beneficiaries of the VetRun include the Homeless Veterans Rehabilitation Program and the Veterans Supportive Service Agency, Inc.
