Seat 5 in Santa Clara has become a hot bed of contention. One candidate has raised over 60,000 dollars mostly from developers and the 49ers. The other candidate has put up 20,000 dollars of her own money. Now who would you trust with your tax dollars? Someone who can put up their own money has a better idea of how to manage money. With the 38,300 dollars voluntary spending limit in Santa Clara, how can a candidate not give the money back to the contributor’s right after they receive it? Let the contributors give it to charity. I’m voting my conscience. I’m voting for Roseann Alderete LaCoursiere for Santa Clara City Council Seat #5. Santa Clara first, not the 49ers or developers.
