I am writing to support the re-election of Bob Owens to the WVMCCD Board. Bob is an effective and tireless advocate for the staff, students and community served by the District. Bob is dedicated and he takes the time to do his homework and fully understand the issues facing the District.
Bob is highly respected by his fellow Board members and was elected Board President 3 times. Bob understands the Board’s stewardship over the use of public funds in providing a quality education for the citizens of the District. He knows this District and he knows what is needed to maintain the high quality of educational services. We need to have people on the Board who are responsive and sincere when dealing with college staff, students and community members served by the District. That person is Bob.
I urge the citizens of Trustee Area 2 to vote for Bob Owens.
