Seems like there’s a police escorted SES Portuguese parade every month. There is one tmrw 8/30 in the morning. I spoke to them and they don’t pay the police department for escort or for permits for closed streets. SCPD does it all the time. They used to use the SCPD reserves now it’s full time SCPD employees. And they use them for several hours. How come SES doesn’t pay like everyone else does like the high schools parade during homecoming? That’s unfair! That’s my tax dollars being wasted.
