As a parent who has watched school board meetings lately, I feel like things have become way too divided. Most teachers, administrators, and board members care about students, but the conversations have turned angry and personal instead of productive.
Teachers absolutely deserve fair treatment and strong protections. But administrators and school boards also deserve the chance to do their jobs without always being assumed to have bad motives. I don’t think either side is completely right or completely wrong. Every group should be open to accountability and criticism. What worries me most is how people are getting attacked.
Our schools work best when adults work together, listen to each other, and stop treating every disagreement like a battle. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators all deserve better than constant fighting.
