Our Letters to Editors and Protests on Streets do not deter the Trump administration from its multiple atrocities. Time to invoke a Higher Power. Presidents Day is a month away. On Presidents’ Day we remember our honorable Presidents Washington and Lincoln. This dishonorable president will surely seek his own recognition. So let’s make Presidents’ Day a day of “Prayers of Protest” against this impostor. Whether in places of worship or out of doors, let us pray that: 1) Trump stops his lies, propaganda, and retribution; 2) Trump stops his immigration raids; 3) Trump stops his US imperialism. Three basic petitions of ‘We the People’ repeated in 10 million prayers to a universal higher consciousness. 

PS. Evangelical Christians think they have a monopoly in upholding political power. Let women and men of all faith traditions demonstrate otherwise. Yet at the same time, Evangelicals are invited to pray also for the peaceful resolution of these critical issues.
