Nancy Toledo and Mayor Jamie Matthews recently received California Public Library Advocates awards. Toledo was recognized as an outstanding library volunteer for her work as Library Trustee, Library Foundation Founder, Friends President, and ESL Program Volunteer Coordinator. Matthews received the elected official award for his and the City Council’s support and advocacy for the opening of the Northside library.
